ATTENTION ALL PUB 140 GOERS!!! As you all know, Tim LaRoche USED TO play a lot at the 140. A while ago, he stopped playing there. there is a lot of he said/ she said on this one.... As the Xtreme Riders are based on Brotherhood & Respect, I was asked to remove "my" story I was told and had posted. So, I did....pending furthur investigation. I will get the scoop from our friend Tim and go from there. Here's the REAL Scoop......from Tim himself..... Tim NEVER had a "deal" of playing at the 140 for FREE if the bar did not make enough $$ that nite. Why would he EVER play a Saturday night for FREE? TIM LAROCHE?? Nashville Star, Opens for Gretchin Wilson....and Charlie Daniels...Are u nuts?..... anyway, The only pay Tim $150...WAY lower than normal....but it's all good. Tim lugged all his equipment down...played that last & fateful night at the Pub 140. Crowd was medium size.....played his heart out as usual. They did also pass the hat around for Tim as is always done. At the end of the night, Ruthy, the Bar Mgr, was on the phone with the bartender on duty, and said DO NOT PAY TIM, due to supposed low bar income that night. Tim did have an altercation with the clock on the wall and broke it......in payment owed to him. Word got to Killer....the owner. He promply contacted Tim, apologized, and offered to send him a check (and did), and forget about the clock and what happened. Tim Contacts Ruthy....to let bygones be bygones.... accepting Killers apology......... and she Tells him the Pub 140 patrons didnt want him there and she agreed... even AFTER Tim called to make amends. So Tim states he will NEVER play the Pub 140 again, or at LEAST IF RUTHY WAS FIRED/GONE..then and only then....he MAY think about it .
